“His injuries are serious, his condition is good,” the doctor said, adding that Leno “did well” during the first surgery.The former “Tonight Show” host explained that he had been working on his 115-year-old car over the weekend when a fuel leak and a simultaneous spark in the 1907 White Steam Car triggered an explosion. He credited his friend Dave with saving him by immediately jumping on the flames to snuff them out.
“As I’m getting to know Jay, I don’t think it’s going to be months,” Grossman said. “I think he’s the kind of guy who’s gonna move forward.”
