The fashion house apologizes for the campaign, while the photographer who took the pictures also speaks out
On Tuesday, Balenciaga deleted everything on its Instagram page and pulled down the campaign. The company also issued a statement to its Instagram Story.
"We apologize for displaying unsettling documents in our campaign. We take this matter very seriously and are taking legal action against the parties responsible for creating the set and including unapproved items for our Spring 23 campaign photoshoot," they continued."We strongly condemn abuse of children in any form. We stand for children safety and well-being.", claiming he was simply told to point and shoot, in the style of his Toy Stories series.
