An unbelievably extensive list of fixes arrives for Baldur’s Gate 3 today, with a second patch already promised for the near future.

The patch goes live today and is so extensive that Larian can’t fit all of it onto one page of the Steam news hub. Although that’s not surprising once you realise it addresses well over 1,000 bugs and other issues. We’re not going to cover all the patch notes in full, but the headliner is a fix that allows especially short player characters to properly kiss theirLarian has even shared a demonstration via a GIF of party member Karlach, a rather tall tiefling, crouching down to kiss a gnome player character, adding: ‘We’re bringing back Short King Summer with better kissing contact for short races!’
Other fixed issues include non-player characters spotting you when they shouldn’t, random floating objects, and the conclusion to Shadowheart’s romance scene not triggering for some players.but do be warned that it contains massive story spoilers.contain spoiler tags, so sensitive plot points are covered up by black rectangles and will only display the details if you hover your mouse over them.
Larian also mentions that a second patch will arrive relatively soon, but all it’s willing to say is that it will include ‘significant performance improvements.’
