developed AI algorithms to detect breast cancer on screening mammograms and tuberculosis on chest radiographs. The next step was the creation of CoDoC, which uses the predictive AI tool combined with a deferral AI tool — tuned with reader decisions and gold-standard outcome data — to improve diagnostic accuracy.

The predictive AI mammography screening tool ) was improved and combined with the clinical deferral approach and tested on two mammography datasets — one from the United Kingdom and other from the United States — and showed improved cancer detection compared with that of single- or double-reading human results.
