Always pair vibe coding with strong guardrails to ensure speed and long-term reliability. - Vibe coding must be collaborative to fully understand the solution, and all disciplines should be engaged, including product management, SMEs, UI/UX, database engineering, security and governance controls. Only by managing these functions collaboratively can prompts be expected to generate good code quality. - You should have spec-driven development, guardrails and a plan from the beginning. The key practice is leveraging an automated quality gate that verifies all code, preventing the natural entropy AI introduces and empowering developers to critically assess its output against quality and security standards.
