Bail set at $75K for one of two man charged in fatal shooting of woman in Serra Mesa [Breaking]
A judge set bail Thursday for a 19-year-old man charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman who was sleeping on the street in Serra Mesa last May.
Defense attorney Vikas Bajaj, who represents Hopkins, has said the allegations came as a surprise to everyone who knows his client. According to prosecutors, 20 minutes before the shooting, Innes sent a text message in a group chat that said, “I’m going hobo hunting with a pellet gun.” Hopkins then picked up Innes, and the pair drove to Sandrock Road where the shooting occurred.
