BAGUIO CITY — The city government here extended its profound congratulations and commendations to Baguio Water District for an international citation it received recently.The commendation was contained in Resolution 599, Series of 2024, ratified by Mayor Benjamin Magalong.
The IWA received 92 applications from around the world for recognition but only 28 were recognized as Climate Smart.Of these, 16 were considered for the Entrant category in the early stages, while 12 utilities demonstrating substantial progress were honored in the Achiever category where BWD was included and given a certificate of recognition for the achievement.
