A Bafana Bafana international has dismissed rumours of playing for either Kaizer Chiefs or Mamelodi Sundowns next season.
While Sundowns have two top options already, Chiefs can not claim their attacking options have delivered in the past seasons. needs no introduction, the latter also hit the ground running. But it is no secret that they have been trying to add a target man to their striking force. In January, they were reportedly close to signingalso came to South African shores with the reputation of being a decent marksman in his native Colombia.
So with both Sundowns and Chiefs looking for a new striker for different reasons, they landed on the same target. That being Bafana Bafana striker“I will always have offers in Europe. I will always have clubs in Europe.Now I am only focused on my knee injury. Healing and coming back fully fit, that’s why ever since I came back to South Africa, I have been focused and working every morning, every day. I am only off on Sundays, so I have been working every day.” Said Mothiba to SAFA media.
With that being said, it is clear that Mothiba sees his future abroad, rather than at Sundowns or Chiefs.
