Orlando Pirates star Monnapule Saleng has left Bafana Bafana camp due to illness and was replaced by Khanyiso Mayo.
Bafana Bafana have announced that Monnapule Saleng will be replaced by Cape Town City’s Khanyisa Mayo ahead of their two friendly matches.“Bafana Bafana Camp Update: Due to an acute illness – Monnapule Saleng is replaced by Khanyisa Mayo. A warm welcome to camp Mayo,” the national team said in a tweet.
“Percy Tau has been released from camp due to family reasons and Kaizer Chiefs’ Mduduzi Mdantsane takes his place in camp. So far all assessments have been completed and this is the only change that we have made to the squad thus far to play Eswatini and Cote d’Ivoire. Ronwen Williams has a small ankle niggle as well”, said Broos.Most of the players have reported for duty with only Bongokuhle Hlongwane and Mihlali Mayambela due to arrive in camp, on Tuesday.
