Badly parked cars are causing problems for those living near a Nottingham flat complex
. Those living in and around Winchester Court, which is located on Chestnut Walk, just off Mansfield Road near Woodthorpe, say they have been badly impacted.
Some living in the area have described it as ‘unfair' and say it is only happening because drivers feel they can get away with it. A lot of people in the area rely on bus services to get around, which means services being delayed or cancelled can have a big impact.Alan Lee, 62 said: “There’s people who need to get to hospital appointments who rely on the 40 so drivers should be fined for parking badly, they do it here because they can’t get caught and know they can get away with it.
Monica Castillo, 45, lives in St Ann’s. Monica said: “It’s happened before when I’ve wanted the bus and I didn’t know why it was delayed or what was happening.” Amanjeet Kaur, 36 lives in Sherwood. The nurse has shared for people doing home visits at Winchester Court before.
