Matikas ang panimula ni Bacyadan upang matamis na angkinin ang 5-0 unanimous win laban kay Dunia Martinez ng Spain sa first round ng women’s 75kg event.tanging sina Bacyadan at Tokyo Olympics silver medalist Carlo Paalam na lamang ang natitirang Pnoy boxers sa Olympic qualifiers.Mas mahirap ang daan ni Paalam dahil kailangan nitong makapasok sa third place upang makasungkit ng puwesto sa Paris Games.
Nais ni Paalam na makakuha ng return ticket sa Olympics matapos itong magkasya sa pilak noong 2021 Tokyo Olympics sa Japan. Hindi naman pinalad sina Rio Olympian Rogen Ladon at Criztian Pitt Laurente na umabante matapos yumuko sa kani-kanyang karibal sa magkaibang dibisyon.Unang sumungkit ng silya si Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist Eumir Felix Marcial sa 19th Asian Games sa Hangzhou, China noong nakaraang taon.
Kasama nito sina Tokyo Games silver medalist Nesthy Petecio at Aira Villegas na nakapasok sa Paris Olympics sa 1st World Olympic Qualification Tournament na ginanap sa Italy.
