A24's erotic thriller 'Babygirl' stars Nicole Kidman as Romy Mathis and Finn Wolfhard as Samuel, a young intern who has an affair with her. Wolfhard discussed a line in the script where Samuel tells Romy she looks like a mother, which he found too rude to deliver. A24 ’s Babygirl was released in United States theaters last month. The erotic thriller movie is directed by Bodies Bodies Bodies’ Halina Reijn and stars Kidman as Romy Mathis and Dickinson as Samuel.
In the movie, Romy, who is the CEO of a tech company, strikes up an affair with Samuel, despite the fact that he’s much younger and an intern at the company she manages. Their relationship takes some twists and turns as they explore power dynamics and attempt to keep it a secret from Romy’s husband, Jacob , and two daughters., Dickinson opened up about a line that was in the script but that he didn’t want to say to Kidman’s character.
