You’re never too young to enjoy a day at the spa - even if you’re a baby
We all like a relaxing day at the spa - a chance to unwind and feel truly pampered. However, it’s not just adults that need some downtime. Danielle Gibbs from Coventry came up with the idea for a spa for little ones when she first had her baby back in March 2020.
My Baby Spa offers newborn to 12-month-old babies a unique sensory experience. During the session, babies can enjoy tiny jacuzzi baths as well as a massage. "We’re fully qualified baby massage instructors," Danielle said. "We guide you through doing a massage on your baby or toddler. Although they have a few activities planned, Danielle says that the sessions are ‘semi-structured’, adding: "We’re a baby-led group, we’re not a class. We guide you on how to do a massage and use the jacuzzi. We can’t predict if the baby will be tired or crying, so we don’t force them to do anything they don’t want to do.
