A man and woman have been arrested after a baby girl died when she suffered a cardiac arrest.
The one-year-old was rushed to hospital after medics were called to a house in Top Knot Close, Nuneaton, Warkwickshire, at around 9.30pm on Thursday.A 34-year-old man and 25-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident.Police at the scene Top Knot Close, Nuneaton Detective Inspector Gareth Unett said: ‘We’ve launched a thorough investigation, which is very much in its early stages.
‘We’re keen to understand exactly what happened and would like to hear from anyone who has information that could help with our ongoing enquiries.‘Anyone with information should call us on 101 quoting incident 457 of 6 August. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.The man and woman remain in police custody.
