Trammell added 21 points, but the real revelation was 12 from Aguek Arop in 23 minutes, both season highs. Arop was the first choice to replace Johnson when he picked up two quick fouls in the first half and a third moments into the second. But Trammell found Arop for a backdoor layup, then Butler hit pull-up jumper, then Trammell made a 3. Later in the half, three different Aztecs made 3s in the space of two minutes. Soon, it was 44-30, visitors.
