Stars and Stripes, the love birds who call this nest home, became parents again when the first of their three eggs hatched 6:41 a.m. on April 9.The third egg in the nest should hatch soon.
The first egg was laid at 12:26 p.m. on Feb. 29, the second at 3:49 p.m. on Mar. 3, and the third at 6:59 p.m. on Mar. 6.The school placed a 360-degree angle camera at the nest in 2015 so eagle enthusiasts can become 24/7 bird watchers through a continuous livestream on YouTube.You can watch these parents around the clock as they welcome their hatchlings on the Eagle Cam:
Stars and Stripes were named by the students of Redwood Elementary School in 2015, and the children have named all of their eaglets over the past nine seasons.According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the bald eagle typically is found near sizable bodies of water, such as the marshy regions near Lake Erie.
