Richards Bay coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi has issued a serious message to his players after they avoided automatic relegation. The Natal Rich Boys boosted their survival hopes with a famous 1-0 victory over Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium. Richards Bay are now three points behind 14th-placed Royal AM with two games left in the season and Vilakazi wants his side to keep fighting in the end.“We were bound and forced to improve, we wanted to save the team," the coach told SuperSport after the game."Obviously, we never started pre-season together but at least now the performance there and the players know how to respond and what we need as the coaching or technical staff.
“So, the recovery if we regain and exploit those spaces but the recovery if we exploit those spaces but it’s not something that we did the whole of the 90 minutes but I was happy with the defensive structure because we were trying to frustrate Orlando Pirates from penetrating especially in the midfield,” he added. For 14 free days, you can have access to the best from Soccer Laduma, KickOff, Daily Sun, TrueLove and Drum.
