Authorities have named BTK serial killer Dennis Rader as the prime suspect in two unsolved killings — one in Oklahoma and another in Missouri.
The BTK killer seemed intent on giving police what they needed for an arrest. The man behind bars presents a logical yet unexpected portrait. No information has been released yet about what the search Tuesday in Park City, a suburb of Wichita, uncovered. Upton described the discoveries only as “items of interest,” in a news release. The release said the items would undergo a thorough examination to determine their potential relevance.
“It was very, very clear someone had created this hole and refilled it with a different material — took some precaution to kind of protect some of those items,” Virden said. Phil Bostian, the police chief of Park City, told KAKE-TV that Osage County called them as a courtesy and said they asked the public works department to move some cement and do a little digging.
