An Australian woman has died on a diving trip in Indonesia . The 64-year-old died on Saturday morning after becoming unconscious on a boat at Manta Point in Nusa Penida, a small island located southeast of Bali . The woman and her husband went diving with local tour company Two Fish Divers, with the activity taking place about 10am . Eleven others were also on board the boat.
CPR was performed on the woman before she was rushed to a local hospital where she died. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade told 7NEWS.com.au it was providing consular assistance to the family of an Australian who died in Bali. “We send our deepest condolences to their family and friends at this difficult time,” it said. “Owing to our privacy obligations we are unable to provide further comment.
