Aussie singer-songwriter Amy Shark is celebrating the major moments during one of the busiest years of her career. She has just released her new album Sunday Sadness and is about to embark on a tour across the country following a stint earlier in the year as a judge on Australian Idol , which is up for a Logie award on Sunday night.

Sunday Sadness is Shark’s third album, and she says she believes she is “a lot more prepared and composed this time round”. “You learn so much each album you release,” she tells 7NEWS.com.au. “I have a handle on my emotions now. So, I can write melancholy songs without it affecting my whole mood. “I also dabbled in some pop punk, which was a lot of fun. This album is very guitar-heavy, and I love that for me.
