South Australia has banned the sale of nicotine pouches, the first such ban of its kind in Australia which will remove the highly addictive product from tobacco stores statewide. Anyone caught selling the now illegal nicotine products will face stiff penalties including seizure of the products and fines up to $1.5 million.
