Finance Minister Katy Gallagher says there is still a way to overhaul the Reserve Bank of Australia despite neither the Coalition nor the Greens supporting the legislation.Gallagher has accused the Greens of being “out of control” in every media interview she has done this morning, as the minor party demands Treasurer Jim Chalmers interfere in the RBA’s decision-making to cut interest rates.

“I just think the Greens are out of control at the moment, full of self-importance and out seeking populist approaches to everything, and it’s crazy what they’re saying to us, so if that’s their ultimatum … we won’t work with that because that is crazy, it’s economically irresponsible, and we won’t do it,” Gallagher told ABC RN Breakfast.
