'It looks weird when you see my name up there,' Reaves said with a smile. It’s getting less weird with each achievement by Reaves, who joined the Lakers undrafted out of Oklahoma 3 1/2 years ago.

'That's a pretty elite list to be on,' Reaves said. 'Those are some legends of the game. It's an honor to be mentioned with them.' Reaves' performance helped the Lakers snap a three-game losing streak and move to 29-31 on the season. The Pacers fell to 26-34. Reaves' scoring outburst came just two days after he scored 35 points in a loss to the Denver Nuggets. 'He's just a really good player,' Lakers coach Darvin Ham said. 'He's been playing at a high level all season. He's got a great feel for the game and he's always looking for ways to make his teammates better.' Reaves' teammates were impressed with his performance. 'He's on fire right now,' said Lakers forward LeBron James. 'He's playing with a lot of confidence and he's making all the right plays.' Reaves' breakout season comes as a surprise to many. He was drafted by the Lakers in 2020 but spent most of his rookie season in the G League. He has averaged 13.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game this season. 'I'm just trying to play my game and make the most of my opportunity,' Reaves said. 'I'm grateful for the chance to play for the Lakers and I'm excited to see what the future holds.
