Austin Police Department needs public assistance in identifying a suspect who opened fire on a victim at the Reserve at Springdale Apartments.
The Austin Police Department Aggravated Assault Unit is requesting the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated assault that occurred on October 27th of last year. The assault happened at the Reserve at Springdale Apartments located at 5605 Springdale Road at approximately 5:23 p.m. During the incident, the victim was sitting in his vehicle at the apartment complex when a silver Dodge Challenger drove past.
At least one suspect exited the Dodge Challenger and opened fire on the victim with an assault-style rifle. The victim was not struck, however, three cars in the parking lot were. The suspect then left the scene. The suspect is described as a black male with shoulder-length dreadlocks, wearing a ski mask.
