Global Surf Industries Founder Mark Kelly told Business Weekend about the technological advancements that have helped his company be more efficient in the modern business age.
Global Surf Industries Founder Mark Kelly started selling surfboards in 2002, in the early days of the internet when companies still used fax machines to reach international customers.
“For us, it’s all about flexibility. I can be on a surfing trip in the Maldives, or travelling around the US as I was still week. I’m still in touch with the business through NetSuite,” he told Business Weekend. Mr Kelly said the growth of the internet and online tools such as NetSuite had greatly cut costs compared to when he first launched his business more than two decades ago.
NetSuite Founder and Executive Vice President Evan Goldberg said the updates would give users a “complete view” of their business, in areas including project management, cash flow and inventory.
