Breakdancing, men’s artistic swimming and skateboarding will all be on the agenda at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The inclusion of new Olympic sports is a long-standing tradition, but one Australia n star athlete has raised concerns a staple event could be axed after Paris 2024 .
While the boxing tournament at the Paris Games has been organised by the IOC, the sport is yet to be included in the initial program for the 2028 Los Angeles Games, raising fears it will be excluded. “It’s the countries that come from these really rough areas and they’re the ones that come and win gold medals, and I think to take that away from people like that is a crime and I would hate to see it.
