Speaking to Sky News Australia host Chris Kenny on Wednesday evening, Bashan said it was a typical,"early autumn, late summer" evening in Tel Aviv and"very hot" with a lot of people out and about, when they received the alert of the incoming rockets."Normally when we hear of missile attacks in Israel, they're in the upper part of the country or in the southern part of the country. They rarely, but occasionally, reach the central parts of Israel.
"Liam and I, in fact, saw a number, a small number, but still a number, evading the Iron Dome defence system and landing in parts of Tel Aviv. Bashan said the emergency alert disseminated by the government"blasted" on their speakers. "Extremely concerned about where the rockets did land and what kind of damage they caused, any casualties," he said.
