A disgruntled diner is gobsmacked after a café charged him an extra 90 cents to toast his sandwich. The man ordered what he described was an “average tasting” sandwich at a café in Perth. To make matters worse, he asked for his lunch to be toasted — only to discover the option came at a price. “Perth café standard... $14.90 for an average tasting sandwich. They charged 90 cents to toast it!” he said anonymously on Reddit.
” But some jumped to the customer’s defence, with one saying: “You can’t just change your mind after they say the price, that might start some kind of... disagreement! “No, better to hold your tongue, snap a picture of your s****y sandwich, and seethe about it on the internet later... This was a tremendous rip-off.
