The West End dedication ceremony for the for longtime district educator is happening Sept. 29 at the Woodstock Child Development Center.
First up, we will honor longtime AUSD educator Dr. Ardella Dailey at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 29 by dedicating our preschool program to her. Over the last 40 years, Dailey has worked as an AUSD superintendent, administrator and school principal, as well as an education board member.
During the dedication ceremony, speakers will discuss Dailey’s many contributions to the AUSD and its surrounding community, and we will unveil a new plaque honoring her. The ceremony will take place at the Woodstock Child Development Center on Alameda’s West End at 500 Pacific Ave. We are super-excited about this opportunity to have a public conversation about a topic that has become so concerning in public school districts. This event will include time for questions at the end.
