Auburn centerfielder Chris Stanfield started a campaign called “Hats off 3” benefitting the Miracle League of East Alabama. This season each time Stanfield’s hat flies off at Plainsmen Park, or he hits a homerun he’ll donate three dollars to the campaign.
According to Stanfield, not only has the buy in from him teammates and coaches been amazing, but the Auburn Family and Community as well. The original goal of the campaign was to raise $3,000. That goal was hit in a matter of 48 hours, so now the goal has been raised to $10,000. The campaign is well on it’s way to achieving that as Stanfield and the Auburn Family have already raised over $7,000.
