Arkansas capitalized on the young quarterback’s mistake and stormed downfield 81 yards and into the endzone. Ja’Qunden Jackson is credited with the game’s first touchdown when he took into the endzone from one yard out. Taylen Green and the Razorback offense bounced right back, and on third and Birmingham, Green dropped back and found Isaiah Satengna wide-open for a 54-yard touchdown pass, giving Arkansas the lead right back.
With just under 10 minutes to go in the game, the Razorback offense went into clock management mode, and it took just over six minutes to move down the field and extend the lead. On a crucial third and goal play, Jackson took the handoff and got the ball just far enough across the goal line to score, putting the Razorbacks up by 10 with 3:38 remaining in the game.
