The student who let the group in mistakenly thought they were supposed to be on campus, the letter stated.
The group of masked individuals were confronted by school administrators after attacking several students, according to the district, then they ran outside. The school district said it's working with Auburn police on the investigation.The district told KOMO News one fight happened in the school Friday morning and the four students involved were removed from campus.
Police said no arrests have been made and added that there's extra police presence at the school in the wake of the recent indicents.
