The drop-waist trend has reached glamorous new heights, courtesy of Aubrey Plaza.Today, the actor walked the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in an incredible silk gown by Loewe with the most sophisticated low waist. The dress was a custom eggshell silk satin duchess gown with long sleeves and a twisted panel that acted as a low belt. The piece rounded down at the waist and fell to the sides, becoming one with the tiered skirt, which pooled at Plaza’s feet.
The White Lotus star wore the dreamy creation with a sculptural necklace composed of layers of turquoise diamonds, plus a gleaming white teardrop diamond at the center. She added a pair of matching chandelier earrings, as well as a cocktail ring also embellished with turquoise diamonds.To put a bow on the Old Hollywood look, Plaza wore her chestnut hair in a side-parted wavy bob and had on rosy makeup and a glossy nude manicure.
