Attorney for Ravi Appeals to Court for Consideration of his Career, Asks for Leniency
On April 11, the first trial of the nine people involved in the case of violating the Military Service Act,conspired with a broker in 2021 and submitted a false diagnosis to the Military Manpower Administration to evade military service. Prosecutors are asking that Ravi and Nafla be sentenced to two years in prison and two years and six months in prison, respectively.Ravi is not only just a celebrity but is also responsible for a company and its employees.
Meanwhile, Ravi enlisted in October of last year and served as a social worker. Prosecutors believe that Ravi signed a contract worth 50 million KRW with a military service broker even though he has no health problems, pretended to have epilepsy, and received an alternative service decision."While undergoing trial until now, I desperately realized how great my fault was and how many people I had hurt.
