A man is behind bars for allegedly stabbing a hotel employee and another person after attempting a robbery early Monday morning in San Diego.
SAN DIEGO - A man is behind bars for allegedly stabbing a hotel employee and another person after attempting a robbery early Monday morning.
According to the San Diego Police Department, officers were called around 5:30 a.m. to the 1133 block of Columbia Street about a man armed with a knife. Shortly after, officers received reports of two people having a knife fight. When police arrived at the scene, they learned that a transient at State and C Streets was stabbed, as well as an employee from a hotel near the Westin Hotel.
SDPD officers say they spotted the attacker and chased him into the hotel where he was arrested. Both victims were rushed to a local hospital and they are expected to survive their injuries.
