Weather forecasters say two atmospheric-river events are headed our way.
The second, coming Tuesday and lasting until Friday, is expected to be stronger and carry widespread showers, especially in south sound.
The National Weather Service predicts a low pressure system will bring much cooler air and rainfall on Wednesday, with wind gusts in the 20-30 mph range in the lowlands. The briefing advises river flooding probably won’t happen during this round of rain.
