The African Transformation Movement says it won't just contest this year's elections, but it will win.
The ATM believes divine intervention is needed going into the elections and party members gathered in Pretoria for a prayer session ahead of the polls.
The 10-month-old party has set its eyes on the Union Buildings and says it won't just contest this year's elections but will win.The ATM's confidence is boosted by a win in the Nyandeni Ward 21 by-election in the Eastern Cape, where the party beat the UDM and EFF in the area to claim second prize after the ANC.
The party also believes its call to bring back the death penalty and its support for the expropriation of land without compensation will give it the edge over its political rivals. “If you check on what’s happening in the country with the amount of experience that current politicians have -SOEs are failing, there's protests every day, so it clearly shows that competence alone doesn’t count for anything you just need people with right mindset and character to serve the people,” said ATM leader, Vuyo Zungula.
