The former Atlanta city councilmember who spearheaded the city's 'Kanye West Day' is distancing herself from Ye after his comments on George Floyd.
TMZ broke the story ... Atlanta proclaimed July 22, 2021"Kanye West Day" after he launched his Donda tour in ATL.
Natalyn, the driving force behind the proclamation, says the proclamation was a one-time thing and can't be repeated or erased ... and she says there were 4 main reasons for commemorating Kanye with his own day., attending Morris Brown College, a HBCU in Atlanta. Lastly, Natalyn says"the proclamation was an acknowledgment of his substantial contribution to the arts.
