Claire BallorThe first Texas location of Atlanta-based burger chain, Slutty Vegan, is coming to Dallas. It will open inEverything on the Slutty Vegan menu — from bacon-topped burgers to loaded Philly cheesesteaks — is plant-based. The concept was started in Atlanta in 2018 by founder and CEO Pinky Cole to reinvent vegan food culture and “break free from kale and quinoa salads.”

Slutty Vegan is opening in Dallas summer 2023. It is the Atlanta-based vegan burger chain's first venture into Texas. The burgers are made with Impossible or Beyond Meat patties and come with toppings like vegan cheese, vegan bacon, vegan shrimp, caramelized onions, jalapeños and their signature “Slut Sauce.” They also serve vegan bratwursts, vegan chili and plant-based chicken sandwiches.Cole started out humbly — making vegan burgers in her Atlanta apartment and selling them through Instagram. Then she upgraded to a food truck. In a few short months, she opened the first brick-and-mortar Slutty Vegan.
