The ATF is offering a $10,000 reward for any tips that could lead Columbus Police to finding the suspect or suspects involved in the CPD Assistant Chief LaShanna Potts said officers responded to multiple shots fired in the 1100 block of the Short North , which is near Standard Hall and Goody Boys.
According to court records, Fuller drove 60 mph in the wrong direction down a one-way street when he first left the scene. He then got on a nearby highway and evaded officers by driving as fast as 109 mph. "We have multiple people armed with guns who are intoxicated and then it becomes a situation of trying to identify who shot first and what started the argument and fight and who escalated things first," CPD Deputy Chief Smith Weir said. "It is very hard for our detectives to solve these cases."
Sunday's shooting comes just over one year after another ten people were shot in the Short North. After that incident, Columbus Mayor Andrew GintherMaking sure the community feels safe is also a priority for Short North business owners. Myers said Spilt was hosting an event Saturday night at Bristol Republic, which is located in the same block where the shooting happened.
