Authorities are asking residents living in the Blackstone Creek Subdivision to shelter in place following a gas main rupture on Wednesday afternoon.
Officials with the Atascocita Fire Department said the incident occurred after a backhoe doing construction hit the gas line. Officials stated an ETA to complete repairs is in excess of two hours.
