Yes, he made a gaffe or two, but President Biden did fine at the NATO press conference. However, he failed to produce resounding proof that he is the best candidate to beat Trump.
’s Thursday press conference following the NATO summit was that while he was doing it, his opponent in the race was meeting with one of, had spent the past week meeting with Putin in Moscow and Xi Jinping in Beijing and had wanted to complete his world tour with America’s number one fan of authoritarianism and Putin’s number one useful idiot.
Biden did just fine. He showed an extensive knowledge of foreign policy issues. He displayed a solid memory and a good command of facts. If you were grading the event, you’d probably give him a B, taking points off for his presentation, which was pretty lackluster, and the fact that he also did not put the story of whether he should be the candidate to rest once and for all.

Indeed, they are kind of debates that have been going on within Biden’s inner circle of advisors too. Nothing wrong with any of that. That is patently wrong and indeed, I think it is dramatically wrong. Next generation leaders and ideas are precisely what we need right now and frankly, one reason the electorate is pretty turned off by this election is that we have the two most elderly candidates in history saying as Trump once did, “I alone can fix it.”
