Beyond the horses, some of Brant's employees lived at the facility and lost everything they owned.
Trainers tried to save as many animals as possible when a barn in Logan County, Ohio burned over the weekend.Owner Brandon Brant said his family and employees rushed to clear horses from the barn. One of their trainers suffered severe burns while trying to save even more animals."I don't think anybody understands this thing went up like that," Brant said, thankful his wife and two kids were away at the time.
His business is now out hundreds of thousands of dollars. Some of the horses, he said, were valued at $250,000, and some may be higher.
