Ruth Negga wore Dior at Cannes, joined by Camille Cottin and stars celebrating Jonathan Anderson's fresh vision at party.
Negga has worn a string of standout looks on the red carpet, picking from some of France’s best-known houses, including a sleek white Celine dress, and pivoting from a custom Saint Laurent — originally shown on the runway as a minidress and transformed into a column gown for the red carpet — to a menswear-inspired tuxedo from Ami Paris.
Demi Moore Pushes Cannes Volume to the Extreme in Hot Pink Matières Fécales “I must defer to my stylist, Karla Welch. I just turn up and I go like this,” she said, posing with outstretched arms.
“And she makes it beautiful. I honestly think she’s an artist and a genius, and there’s a rhythm and a flow to the looks that happens very organically, but there’s a lot of work that’s gone into it. So, I just go with that energy. ”“I love green.
Jonathan’s Irish, I’m Irish, so why not represent,” she said of the deep sage color, a subtle nod to the country’s signature hue.
“And since we’re not in the Eurovision this year, I thought I would do the honors of representing Ireland in Europe,” she joked. Camille Cottin sported sparkly embellished jeans with a laid-back black tank top and open waistcoat, a switch from the soft white satin column gown with a contrasting black bow belt she wore for the premiere of “Karma” the night before.
“I’m really excited to be working with Jonathan. It’s wonderful,” she said, praising his versatility.
“I love both the custom look that he did, and then I love the casual designs. I’m very fond of what he does. I love the fact that he’s designing both for women and men. I’m a big fan.
He’s got such a great energy too. He’s a lovely person. ” The “Call My Agent! ” star also offered a little insight into the highly anticipated film adaptation of the hit television series, which is finally set for release after years of stop-and-start development.
Netflix has confirmed a September 2026 release for the “Call My Agent! ” movie.
“My character just became a film director, and then Noemi became a producer. Everybody has changed a lot in the script during the five previous years,” she said.
“We start the film on the basis that five years have passed, and then you have new associations of characters. “If you’ve liked the show, it’s a wonderful way of getting reunited with the characters,” she added. “And it was so fun to film. ” Other guests included Isabelle Adjani, Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Alex Lutz and Loro Piana chief executive officer Frédéric Arnault.
Guests later sat down for dinner at a long table dotted with poppies and candles overlooking the Mediterranean.
