The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED, a laptop-cum-tablet-cum-desktop computer is every bit as peculiar as Asus’ other crazy PCs, with one, remarkable exception.
If ever there was a company willing to push the definition of a laptop computer, Asus is that company.
No? Well we don’t either. Almost nobody remembers those laptops. Asus threw them up against the wall of history, and they slid right off, barely leaving a trace. The computer has a gazillion different configurations : two “laptop” modes ; “extended” mode with the screen half-folded like in laptop mode, except with the Bluetooth keyboard sitting on the desk rather than on the screen; “tablet” mode with the screen fully opened up; “reader” mode with the screen mostly opened, like a magazine; and “desktop” mode, with the screen propped up on its kickstand and the keyboard on the desk.
