WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Astros reassigned top prospect Korey Lee to minor league camp on Thursday night in advance of Class AAA Sugar Land’s impending season opener.
Baseball America ranks Lee as the team’s best overall prospect. The former first-round pick spent nearly four weeks in major league spring training and got to work with most of the team’s major league pitchers. Lee caught Justin Verlander’s first Grapefruit League start and got seven at-bats in Grapefruit League play.
