Former second baseman and broadcaster will be officially inducted on Aug. 12.

Voting was by a committee of former players, current front office staff, current media members and baseball historians. The two will be recognized on at an induction ceremony on Aug. 12, prior to the Astros game against the Angels. Doran is the 21st player inducted to the Astros' hall of fame, which was created in 2019, and Borwn the fifth non-player.

Doran played for the Astros from 1982-90 and ranks in the top 10 in hits, runs, stolen bases, walks, at-bats and triples in franchise history. He was the team's MVP in 1985 and 1987.
