Well, at least he's TRYING to help 🤷‍♂️

A scientist who tried to build a special necklace to combats the spread of coronavrius ended up in hospital with four magnets stuck up his nose.

He soon realised the part did the exact opposite, making the necklace buzz continuously unless the bracelet was moved really close, so the astrophysicist scrapped that idea and started clipping magnets on either side of his earlobes to pass the time.Things took a turn for the worse when he tried the same on his nostrils. After removing the magnets from the outside of his nose, the two inside stuck together.

: ‘It was a little bit painful at this point. My partner took me to the hospital that she works in because she wanted all her colleagues to laugh at me.‘The doctors thought it was quite funny, making comments like “This is an injury due to self-isolation and boredom”.’
