Aston Merrygold has shared a touching tribute to a former JLS backing dancer who has died aged 35.
Aston Merrygold has paid a poignant tribute to a former JLS backup dancer, dubbing him as an 'original JLS team member'.
Dancer, Jack Pointer Mackenzie, recently died aged 35 with Aston - who was in JLS alongside Marvin Humes, Ortise Williams and JB Gil from 2009 until their last tour in 2021 - paying tribute on Instagram.He added: "Original JLS team member!" reports OK!. On Aston's next Instagram story, Aston shared a video of Jack and other backing dancers performing on stage alongside JLS."A phenomenal team member!"
Base Dance Studios shared a couple of black and white snaps of Jack to Instagram, as they wrote: "A unique gift, who shall be sorely missed. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.Following the sweet tribute, a number of fans paid tribute to Jack after he passed away.Another said: "Not Jack hadn't seen him in years but what a sweet soul and infectious spirit he had. Can't believe it rest easy my man.""A beautiful dancer, teacher and human," commented a fourth.
