The powertrain went under a 'complete redesign', resulting in significant improvements in its output and efficiency

Aston Martin 's heavily revised twin-turbo V12 will produce 824 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. The mill will debut in the new flagship before finding its way to other limited production specials. The company strongly suggests that the successor of the DBS will use the Vanquish moniker when it arrives later in 2024.

In order to improve on the successful twelve-cylinder recipe, Aston Martin engineers refined every stage of the internal combustion process, with the hardware improvements resulting in unprecedented performance and efficiency. More specifically, the new V12 features strengthened cylinder block and conrods, redesigned cylinder heads with reprofiled camshafts, as well as new intake and exhaust ports.
